Talk About Change in Bands!!!!!!


So we have had some big changes in both bands lately.

Lets start with Flybone. Our founding member Marc decided to leave us and work full time with "Stone Age Romeos" a local gigging rock dance band. I aint mad at him. You got to do what you got to do. So we have been trying out new guitarists. We think we found one in Nick, a guy who played bass in another band with me. We just need to get up to speed to get out and gig.

Start at the begining.

So I decided to start a blog about the adventures of being a middle-age singer in a rock band

In my case there are two.

The first one was started over 3 years ago with one of my best friends HippieTim. We have been thru 4 different versions of this band. Oh I forgot to mention the name. Its Mopping Janet. Named after an incident that took place involving HippieTim, a drunk girl named Janet, and a big bottle of Gin. Yes he did actually mop the floor with Janet and her hair. Enough said.

The second is called FlyBone. It started about about 10 weeks ago. The name came from a band name generator on the internet. It's made up of 4 guys that have played together at different times. And then theres me. Dino the FrontMan. Oh and how I like to be the center of attention !!

So in the upcoming days, months, years, whatever, I will be telling the story of the trials and tribulation involved in being the singer in these bands or whatever bands Im playing with at the time.

I will also post pictures and other things related as they come up.
